Although strawbee is currently lying dormant, I've started writing again a bit at my new site, ltlblg.com, which is more of a tumblelog with the occasional longer post. So, if you're interested, have a look!

Zoomed in close to the milk icons

I like making tiny little cute icons sometimes, and I’ve made an unimaginatively named set called “Milk and Green”. They’re all white and green. Hence the name.

They started off as just being icons for this site, but I soon made way more than I need on this site. I’m only using about 4 here, but there are 21 in total. Hopefully they can spice up your website a bit. They’re specifically designed for use with a CMS of some sort, but obviously you can use them for what you like, as they’re fairly generic icons.

They’re free to use, etc. You can get them one at a time by saving the images below, or you can grab the lot in png format. Have fun, and post a comment on this post if you use them.

Hope you enjoy them. If you can’t find what you need here, drunky love has loads of excellent free icons, or consider buying some stock icons from icon buffet.

Icon Buffet’s having this Free Icon Delivery promotion where when you sign up for their account [ which is free ] you get one set of icons for free - there are 5 sets they are giving away and you can get the other four from other people who signed up too - because they wouldn’t have the same set.

I signed up and got the Oslo Atmosphere set free - the other four I’m looking for are Shanghai Tech, Shanghai Tech Vector, Taipei night market and Oslo Finance. So if anyone has any of these four, I’ll trade mine for one of yours - it’s perfectly legal according to Icon Buffet and it seems they want to do this for promotion.

Just to be clear, the icons are under no licence, they’re what you could call, “public domain”. It’s just the writing etc. of the blog that’s under Creative Commons

Very nice, thanks! Consider naming the folder in your archive something meaningful instead of “png”, and adding a ‘read me’ doc so you get the credit you deserve. I mention this because I had downloaded these a while ago but didn’t take time to note the source. I found them again on my hard drive recently and couldn’t remember where I’d gotten them from. Luckily I came across a link to them again and the mystery was solved.
